REMOTE MANAGED IT FOR US LAW FIRMS
Remote IT Support for US Law Firms
IT-Emergencies supports US law firms with remote-first IT management, Microsoft 365, identity and email security, backup, recovery planning and infrastructure troubleshooting. We work with your existing systems and can coordinate with local on-site providers when physical intervention is needed.

Legal Work Cannot Wait for IT to Catch Up
Email, document access, cloud identities and connected systems are essential to daily work in a law firm. An account compromise, lost device, failed update or inaccessible backup can affect far more than one employee. The goal is to contain issues early and keep critical work moving.
Email Is Unavailable
Attorneys and staff lose a key channel for client and internal communication.
Matter Files Cannot Be Accessed
Teams cannot retrieve, review or share documents when they need them.
An Account Is Compromised
A stolen password or session can expose email, cloud files and connected services.
Recovery Does Not Work
An outage becomes much more serious when the restore process has not been tested.
We focus on reducing avoidable incidents and shortening the disruption when something does happen.
A Practical External IT Team for Your Law Firm
Day-to-day support, security, cloud administration and technology coordination — approached as one operational environment, rather than separate tickets and disconnected vendors.
Microsoft 365
Administration of Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, accounts, permissions and core security settings.
Cybersecurity
MFA, identity protection, endpoint security, email defenses and access reviews suited to your environment.
Backup & Recovery
Protection of critical data, backup monitoring and planning for realistic restore scenarios.
Proactive Monitoring
Monitoring and health checks for systems included in the agreed service scope.
Workstations & Servers
Remote troubleshooting, Windows systems, updates, device issues and infrastructure escalation.
Secure Remote Access
Practical controls for staff working securely from office, home or on the move.
Vendor Coordination
Technical communication with software, connectivity, cloud and other third-party providers.
Onsite Coordination
Remote-led troubleshooting and coordination with your in-house or local onsite technicians when physical work is required.
BUSINESS CONTINUITY FOR LAW FIRMS
IT Support Matters Most When Your Firm Needs to Keep Working
Resolving individual tickets is important. Business continuity looks at the bigger picture: reducing interruptions, limiting their impact and restoring the services your team depends on first.
PREVENT → CONTAIN → RECOVER
01 · PREVENT
Reduce Avoidable Risk
Account security, endpoint controls, monitoring, updates and backup reviews help prevent small issues from becoming major outages.
02 · CONTAIN
Limit the Impact
When an incident happens, identify affected accounts or systems, protect remaining access and coordinate the next steps.
03 · RECOVER
Restore Critical Work
Prioritize access to email, files and systems based on the firm’s operational needs and a documented recovery plan.
LAW FIRM CYBERSECURITY
Protect Accounts, Devices and Access to Sensitive Information
Law firms work with confidential documents and communications every day. Strong security begins with who can sign in, what each user can access and how devices and email are protected.
Security Goes Beyond Antivirus
Identity, email, endpoints, permissions and recoverability must work together. A single security product cannot compensate for weak access controls or backups that have never been restored.
Focus on practical risk reduction, not checkbox security.
Identity & MFA
Strengthen authentication and review risky sign-in and account settings.
Email Security
Review phishing defenses, mail flow and account exposure.
Endpoint Protection
Apply device controls and monitoring appropriate for the firm.
Access & Permissions
Review user access, sharing and administrative privileges.
MICROSOFT 365 FOR LAW FIRMS
Microsoft 365 That Stays Organized, Secure and Manageable
Email, cloud documents and collaboration depend on more than licenses. As your team changes, accounts, permissions, sharing settings and security need continued attention.
Keep Control as the Firm Grows
New starters, departures, shared mailboxes, external collaborators and document permissions add complexity. We help make those changes controlled, visible and supportable.
Exchange Online & Email
Mailbox administration, troubleshooting and key email configurations.
OneDrive & SharePoint
File access, collaboration, sharing policies and practical governance.
Users & Permissions
Joiner/mover/leaver workflows, account reviews and least-privilege principles.
Security & Backup Strategy
Identity protections and backup options matched to business risk.
BACKUP & RECOVERY
Backups Only Matter If You Can Restore What You Need
A successful backup job does not guarantee a usable recovery. The real questions are which systems matter most, how much data loss is acceptable and how quickly work can resume.
Recovery Should Be Tested, Not Assumed
Review backup coverage, alerts, ownership, recovery priorities and whether restoration procedures have been tested. A practical plan makes it clear what happens next when the unexpected occurs.
Microsoft 365 Backup
Consider protection of important Exchange, OneDrive and SharePoint data.
Servers & Business Data
Review backup scope and dependencies for critical workloads.
Restore Validation
Test realistic restores and document what actually works.
Recovery Objectives
Define target RPO and RTO based on the firm’s operational needs.
One Technical Point of Contact Across Your IT Vendors
A problem can involve Microsoft 365, internet connectivity, legal software, endpoints or a third-party provider. We help coordinate the technical conversation so your team is not left translating between support desks.
One Point of Contact
Provide context, gather technical evidence and route the issue to the right provider.
Vendor Coordination
Work with existing software, cloud, telecommunications and onsite IT partners.
Follow-Through
Track open issues and communicate next steps until there is a clear resolution or handoff.
Clear Support Expectations Instead of Unverified Promises
SCOPE · COVERAGE · ESCALATION
Before work begins, we agree on supported systems, contact routes, hours of coverage, priority levels and escalation procedures. You know how support is delivered and when local assistance may be needed.
Remote IT Support for Law Firms That Value Stability and Control
Our approach is suited to firms looking for experienced technical support across Microsoft 365, security and infrastructure, whether alongside an internal coordinator or as an external IT partner.
Small & Mid-Sized Law Firms
Teams that need dependable IT expertise without building every specialist capability in-house.
Microsoft 365 Environments
Firms relying on Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Windows and cloud services.
Remote-First Collaboration
Organizations comfortable with remote management and a local onsite partner for hands-on work.
More Than a Helpdesk for Your Law Firm
Day-to-day troubleshooting matters, but sustainable IT support also improves visibility, security, ownership and recovery readiness over time.
Experienced Escalation
Technical issues are investigated with infrastructure context, not handled as isolated symptoms.
Proactive Risk Reduction
Health checks, security reviews and planning reduce avoidable operational surprises.
Connected IT Management
Microsoft 365, endpoints, access, backups and business continuity are treated as parts of one environment.
Remote-First Delivery
Most work is performed remotely, with local hands-on assistance coordinated separately when required.
The team behind IT-Emergencies
The people behind your IT support
IT-Emergencies is led by Alexios Pappas, Founder & IT Architect, with more than 18 years of experience across IT infrastructure, Microsoft technologies and business-critical systems. Your firm works with an experienced technical partner, not just a queue of disconnected support tickets.
We provide remote-first services from Greece. US onsite work is not included by default and must be arranged separately with a local provider. Availability, access and responsibilities are agreed before an engagement begins.
Microsoft 365, identity, Windows infrastructure, backup readiness and technical escalation.
HOW WE START
A Structured IT Transition Without Unnecessary Disruption
Changing IT support should not force a complete technology overhaul. We begin with what you already have and prioritize work according to real business needs.
Keep What Works. Improve What Creates Risk.
We review existing services and vendors, account administration, access, backups and major pain points. Changes are proposed in stages rather than replacing working systems for their own sake.
01 · DISCOVER
Understand Your Environment
Gather the scope of Microsoft 365, endpoints, key systems and current provider responsibilities.
02 · ASSESS
Identify Risks & Gaps
Examine access, backups, security settings, dependencies and recurring incidents.
03 · PRIORITIZE
Agree on the Plan
Rank urgent issues, achievable improvements and responsibilities.
04 · SUPPORT
Establish the Working Model
Agree on remote support, reporting, communications and escalation procedures.
INITIAL IT ASSESSMENT
Let's Review Where Your Law Firm's IT Stands Today
Tell us about your systems, current challenges and priorities. We’ll discuss whether our remote-first approach is a good fit and where an initial review could provide clarity.
What We Can Discuss
Microsoft 365, user access, device management, backup and recovery readiness, current vendors and the IT risks most likely to disrupt everyday legal work. No technical report is required to start the conversation.
Before You Choose Remote IT Support for Your Law Firm
A few practical questions about how a remote-first IT partnership works.
Can you support a law firm based in the United States?
We provide remote IT consulting and technical support to organizations in different locations. We agree on supported systems, communication channels and coverage before onboarding. We do not represent that we operate a physical office in the US.
What happens when a problem requires someone onsite?
Many Microsoft 365, account, cloud and infrastructure issues can be investigated remotely. For physical hardware or cabling work, we can coordinate with your in-house technician or local service provider, depending on the agreed scope.
Do we need to replace our current Microsoft 365 setup or IT vendor?
Not necessarily. We assess existing systems, clarify responsibilities and recommend changes only when there is a practical reason to make them.
What response times and support hours do you offer?
Support windows, response targets and escalation routes depend on the agreed service package. We document these expectations before support begins rather than promising the same coverage for every firm.
How do you approach confidentiality and secure access?
We focus on appropriate access controls, MFA, permissions and secure handling of administrative access. Any specific contractual or regulatory requirements should be reviewed and agreed as part of the engagement.
What does an initial IT assessment cover?
An initial discussion of your Microsoft 365 environment, key systems, support challenges, backup and recovery priorities, and the practical next steps worth exploring.
